Building Project--Day 28

We keep seeing new pieces of equipment around here. Day 28 was no exception.

Roof tresses backing up the driveway

First of all, I continue to be impressed by all the drivers of big trucks/trailers/equipment who are so good at backing up our long driveway.

Second, there was no crane or forklift or anything attached to this trailer. How in the world were they going to get those huge tresses off the back of that trailer!?

Well, it just so happens that the trailer has motorized rollers. Here you can see them in action:

We got a better look at the rollers as the truck left.

Sorry if the picture is too small to see the rollers well, but I promise they're there.

Now, let's get a closer look at those tresses.

The kids and I liked the silver spiky things that held the tresses together.

And my dear 3rd born son took most of the pictures again, so. . .

Obligatory backhoe picture

Is anybody else thinking he just might be a professional backhoe operator someday?

And finally, the end of the day picture shows what the carpenters were working on today---building walls.

Walls with doors and windows!
